Generosity of Others Enables War Veteran to Sleep In His Own Bed

Recently a 100% disabled 92-year-old Korean War Veteran, Tom Hannah, sought the assistance of a mobility provider to work with the VA to help him get a stair lift. They were trying to put in a curved stair lift but because of the stairwell bulkhead it was not approved. Country Home Elevator Sales Team member, Kyle Hooper of Tulsa, learned of the situation and called the mobility provider suggesting they use a straight stair lift after the landing. Starting on the top left, Technicians Tim Ivan and Jesse are on a jobsite in Sunrise Beach, Missouri.  They are installing a Symmetry Home Elevator in a home with these beautiful lake views!  They quickly unloaded on the jobsite before the storms in the top right picture settled in, these heavy storms brought on flash flooding which did affect our crews. Starting with the top two pictures, Senior Technician Ron and Technician Ivan joined Oklahoma Technician Owen in Skiatook, Oklahoma this week.  They are installing a Symmetry Home Elevator that will service three floors for the future homeowner.  In the top right picture, Technician Ivan and Technician Owen are setting the elevator cab before installing the cartop. Starting on the left, Arkansas Technician Dustin is servicing a Vertical Platform Lift in Eureka Springs, Arkansas.  This model was manufactured by Symmetry Elevating Solutions, and is enclosed in a hoistway.  These lifts can be used indoors as well.
